난 데스노트 만화로 몇권 본적은 있지만 그렇게 재미있지는 않았다. 내 스타일은 베르세르크처럼 그로테스크한걸

더 좋아한다. 심심해서 본영화치고는 재미있었지만 만화가 원작이라 이미지가 안맞는듯도 싶고

뭐 재미있으면 그만이지 크~

두뇌 싸움의 승자가 세상을 지배한다

법관을 꿈꾸는 천재 대학생 야가미 라이토(후지와라 타츠야). 법의 한계를 느끼던

그는 어느 날 우연히 데스노트를 줍게 된다. 이 노트에 이름이 적힌 사람은 죽는다라는

한 문장을 반신반의하며 TV뉴스에 방영된 유괴범의 이름을 적자 실제로 죽음이 이루어진 것.

노트의 힘을 알게 된 라이토는 자기 손으로 범죄자를 처단하고 이상적인 세계를 만들어 가기로 결심한다.

세계 각지의 범죄자들이 의문의 심장마비로 죽어나가자 인터폴에서는

The human whose name is written in this note shall die.
이 노트에 이름이 적힌 인간은 죽을 것이다. This note will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.
이 노트는 이름을 적은 인물의 얼굴을 알고 있지 않으면 효과가 없다.
따라서 같은 이름을 가진 사람들한테는 효과는 없다. If the cause of death is written whitin 40seconds of writing the person's name, it will happen. 만약 사인(死因)이 이름 다음에 40초 이내로 적히면, 그것은 실현될 것이다. * the cause of death = 사인(死因) If the cause of death is not specified, the person will simply die of a heart attack.
만약 사인을 적지 않으면 그 사람은 단순히 심장마비로 죽을 것이다. After writing the cause of death, details of the death should be written in the next 6 minutes and 40seconds.
사인을 적은 후, 죽음의 상세한 기술은 6분 40초 내에 적으면 된다. This note shall become the property of the human world, once it touches the ground of(arrives in)the human world.
일단 이 노트는 인간계에 떨어진 순간부터 인간계의 것이 된다. The owner of the note can recognize the image and voice of its original owner, i.e. a god of death.
이 노트의 소유자는 노트의 원래 소유자, 즉 사신의 모습과 목소리를 인지할 수 있다. * i.e. = id est(=that is) : 즉, 바꿔 말하면 The human who uses this note can neither go to Heaven nor Hell.
이 노트를 사용한 인간은 천국에도 지옥에도 갈 수 없다. * neither A nor B : A도 B도 아니다 If the time of death is written within 40 seconds, after writing the cause of death as a heart attack, the time of death can be manipulated, and the time
can go into effect within 40 seconds after writing the name.
만약 사인을 심장마비라고 적은 뒤, 40초 이내에 사망시각을 적으면 심장마비라 해도 죽는 시각을 조작할 수 있으며, 그 시각은 이름을 적은 후 40초 이내로도 가능하다. The human who touches the DEATH NOTE can recognize the image and voice of its original owner, a god of death, even if the human is not the owner of the note.
데스 노트를 만진 인간은 그 소유자가 아니어도 원래 소유자인 사신의 모습이나 목소리를 인지할 수 있다. The person in possessin of the DEATH NOTE is possessed by a god of death, its original owner, until they die.
데스노트를 갖고 있는 한, 죽을 때까지 원래 소유자인 사신이 따라다닌다. If a human uses the note, a god of death usually appears
in front of him/her within 39 days after he/she uses the note.
사신은 통상적으로 인간이 노트를 사용한 39일 이내에 사용한 자 앞에 모습을 나타낸다. Gods of death, the original owners of the DEATH NOTE,
do not do, in principle, anything which will help or prevent the deaths in the note.
데스노트의 원래 소유자인 사신은 그 노트를 사용해
인간을 죽이는 행위를 돕거나 방해하지않는다.
A god of death has no obligation to completely explain how to
use the note of rules which will apply to the human who owns it.
데스노트 사용법이나 그걸 가진 인간에게 발생하는 현상을 사신이 모두 설명할 의무는 없다. A god of death can extend his life by putting human names on the note, but humans cannot.
사신은 데스노트에 인간의 이름을 적어 자신의 수명을 늘릴 수 있지만, 인간은 수명을 늘릴 수 없다. A person can shorten his or herown life by using the note.
데스 노트로 자신의 수명을 줄일 수 있다. The human who becomes the owner of the Death note can, in exchange of half of his/her remaining life, get the eyeballs of the god of death which will enable hem/her to see a human's name and remaining lifetime when looking through them.
데스 노트의 소유자가 된 인간은 남은 수명의 반과 바꿔서, 얼굴을 보면 인간의 이름과 수명을 알 수 있는 자신의 눈을 받을 수 있다. A god of death cannot be killed even if stabbed in his heart with a knife or shot in the head with a gun. however, there are ways to kill a god of death. which are not generally known to the gods of death.
사신은 심장이 나이프에 찔려도 머리에 총을 맞아도 죽지 않는다.
하지만 일부 사신은 사신을 죽이는 방법을 알고 있다. The conditions for death will not be realized unless it is physically possible for that human of it is reasonably assumed to be carried out by that human.
노트에 적는 죽음의 상황은 그 인간이 물리적으로 실현 가능한 것,그 인간이 해도 이상하지 않은 범위의 행동이 아니면 표현 할 수 없다. The specifix scope of the condition for death is not known to
the gods of death, either. So, you must exmine and find out.
죽음의 상황으로 가능한 일의 상세한 범위는 사신도 모르기 때문에, 자신이 직접 증명해 보는 수 밖에 없다. One page taken from the DEATH NOTE, or even a fragment of the page, contains the full effects of the note.
데스노트에서 잘라낸 페이지나 그 일부 조각으로도 데스 노트의 모든 특성이 유효하다. The instrument to write with can be anything, as long as
it can write directly onto the note and remains as legible letters.
노트에 적을 수만 있는 것이라면, 궅이 필기도구가 아니어도 상관없다. 화장품이나 피도 가능하다. Even the original owners of the DEATH NOTE, gods of death, do not know much about the note.
원래 소유자 사신도 데스 노트에 관해 모르는 것이 많다. Even if you do not actually possess the DEATH NOTE, the effect will be the same if you can recognize the per son and his/her name to place in the blank.
데스노트의 소유자 이외의 제 삼자가 얼굴과 이름을
인식하고 이름을 적으면, 소유자가 사용했을 때와 같은 효력이 있다. The DEATH NOTE will not affect those under 780days old.
생후 780일이 지나지 않은 인간에겐 데스노트 효력이 생기지 않는다. The DEATH NOTE will be rendered uneless if the viotim's name is misspelled four times.
동일인물의 얼굴은 떠올린 상태에서 그 인간의 이름을 네 번 틀리면, 데스 노트 효력은 그 인간에게 적용되지 않게 된다. "Suicide" is a valid cause of death. Basically all hymans are thought to possess the possibility to commit suicide. It is, therefore, not something "unbelievable to think of".
사인에 '자살'이라고 적는 것도 유효하며, 자살은 거의 모든 인간의 사인에 적용된다.
요컨대 '생각도 못해본 일'의 범주엔 들어가지 않는다. Whether the cause of the individual's death is either a suicide or accident, If the death leads to the death of more than the intended, the person willsimply die of a heart attack. thehis is to ensure that other lives are not influenced.
자살이든 사고사든 이름이 적힌 인간 이외의 타인의 죽음을 직접적으로 유도하는 상황은 불가능하다. 타인의 죽음까지 유도하는 상황을 적은 경우엔, 데스 노트에 이름이 적힌자가 제삼자의 죽음을 초래하지 않는 상황에서 심장마비로 죽게 된다. If you lose the DEATH NOTE or have it stolen, you will lose its ownership unless you retrieve it within 490 days.
데스노트를 분실 및 도난당한 경우 490일 이내에 다시 손에 넣지 않으면 소유권을 잃는다.

If you traded the eye power of a god of death, you will lose eye power as well as the memory of the DEATH NOTE, once you lose its ownership. At the sametime, the remaining half of your life will not be restored.
사신의 눈으로 교환한 자는 소유권을 잃으면 노트의 기억과 함께 눈의 능력을 잃는다. 그 때 반이 된 수명은 돌아오지 않는다. You may lend the DEATH NOTE to another person while maintaining its ownership. Subletting it to yet another person is possible, too.
소유자는 그대로인채 다른 사람에게 데스노트를 빌려주는 것은 가능하다. 다시 빌려주는 것도 상관없다.

The borrower of the DEATH NOTE will not be followed by a god of death. The god of death always remains with the owner of the DEATH NOTE. Also, the borrower cannot trade the eyesight of the god of death.
데스노트를 빌린 자에게는 사신이 따르지 않는다. 사신은 어디까지나 소유자를 따른다. 또한 빌린 자는 사신과 눈의 거래를 할 수 없다. When the owner of the DEATH NOTE dies while the Note is being lent, its ownership will be transferred to the person who is holding it at that time.
데스노트를 빌려주고 소유자가 죽는 경우 소유권은 그 때 가지고 있는 자에게 이동한다.

If the DEATH NOTE is stolen and the owner is killed by the thief, its ownership will automatically be transferred to the thief.
데스노트를 훔치고 소유자를 살해한 경우 소유권은 자동적으로 훔친자에게 이동한다. You cannot kill humans at the age of 124 and over with the DEATH NOTE.
인간계 단위로 124세 이상의 인간은 데스노트로 죽일 수 없다.

You cannot kill humans with less than 12minutes of life left(in human calculations).

남은 수명이 인간계 단위로 12분 이하의 인간은 데스노트로 죽일 수 없다.

The number of pages of the DEATH NOTE will never run out.
데스노트는 아무리 이름을 써도 페이지가 없어지지 않는다. If you have traded the eye power of a god of death, you will see a person's primary life span in the human world.
사신과 안구의 거래를 하여 그 눈으로 보이는 인간의 수명은 인간계에 있는 데스노트와 관련되지 않은 인간계에서의 본래의 수명이다.

The names you see with the eye power of a god of death are the names needed to kill that person. You will be able to see the names even if that person isn't registered in the family registration.
또한 사신의 눈으로 보이는 인간의 이름은 '그 인간을 죽이는데 필요한 이름'이며, 아무리 호적 등에 이름이 없다고 해도 죽이는데 필요한 이름은 보인다.

The person in possession of the DEATH NOTE is possessed

by a god of death, its original owner, until they die.

데스노트를 소유하는 한, 자신이 죽을 때까지 원주인인 사신이 따른다.

If a human uses a note, a god of death usually appears

in front of him/her within 39 days after he/she uses the note.

사신은 보통 인간이 노트를 사용한 지 39일 이내에 모습을 드러낸다.

God of death, the original owner of the DEATH NOTE,

do not do, in principle, anything which will help or prevent the deaths in the note.

데스노트의 원주인인 사신은 그 노트로 죽음을 돕거나 방해하는 행위는 기본적으로 하지 않는다.

A god of death has no obligation to completely explain

known to the gods of death, either. So, you must examine and find out.

죽음의 상황으로 가능한 상세한 범위는 사신도 모르니 스스로 검증하여 밝힐 수밖에 없다.

One page taken from the DEATH NOTE, or even a fragment of the page,

contains the full effects of the note.

데스노트로부터 찢어진 1페이지나 그 종이조각에도 전부 데스노트의 특징은 유효하다.

When the same name is written on more than two DEATH NOTEs,

the Note which was first filled in will take effect, regardless of the time of death.

두 권 이상의 데스노트에 같은 인물의 이름이 적힐 경우 기록한 사망시각과

관계 없이 먼저 적은 자를 우선한다.

If writing the same name on more than two DEATH NOTEs is completed

within a 0.06-second difference, it is regarded as simultaneous,

the DEATH NOTE will not take effect and the individual written will not die.

2권 이상의 데스노트에 이름을 적은 시간차가 0.06초 이내일 경우는 동시로 간주되어

그들의 노트에 적인 것은 무효화되며 이름이 적힌 인간은 죽지 않는다.

If the god of death decides to use the DEATH NOTE to kill

the assassin of an individual he favors, the individuals life will be extended,

but the god of death will die.

사신은 특정 인간에게 호의를 가지고 그 인간의 수명을 늘리기 위해

데스노트를 사용, 인간을 죽이면 죽는다.

The dead god of death will disappear, but the DEATH NOTE will remain.

The ownership of this DEATH NOTE is usually carried over to the next god

of death that touches it, but it is common sense

that it is returned to the Great god of death.

죽은 사신은 사라지나 데스노트는 남는다. 그 노트의 소유권은 통상 다음에

노트와 접촉한 사신에게로 이동하지만, 사신 대왕에 반납하는 것이 상식으로 여겨진다.

Only by touching each other's DEATH NOTE can human individuals

who own the DEATH NOTE in the human world recognize the appearance

or voice of each other's god of death.

인간계에 데스노트를 가진 인간 사이라도 상대의 데스노트를 만지지 않으면

상대에 붙어있는 사신의 모습이나 목소리를 인지할 수 없다.

As individual with the eye power of a god of death can tell the name

and life span of other humans by looking at that person's face.

By possessing the DEATH NOTE, an individual gains the ability to kill, and steps

being a victim. From this point, a person with the DEATH NOTE cannot see the life

span of other DEATH NOTE owners, including him/herself.
But , it is not really necessary for the individual to view the life

span of him/herself other DEATH NOTE owners.

사신의 눈을 가진 인간은 얼굴을 본 인간의 이름과 수명을 볼 수 있지만, 데스노트를

가진 것으로 수명을 빼앗기는 측에서 뺏는 측이 되기 때문에 죽일 인간의 수명만 보이면

된다는 방식에서 자신을 포함하여 다른 데스노트를 가진 인간의 수명은 볼 수 없다.

The god of death must not tell humans the names or life

spans of individuals he sees. This is to avoid confusion in the human world.

사신은 인간에게 사신의 눈으로 보이는 이름과 수명을 말해서는 안된다.

이는 인간계의 혼란을 피하려는 배려인 것이다.

The god of death must at least own one DEATH NOTE.

that DEATH NOTE must never be lent to or written on by a human.

사신은 반드시 데스노트를 한 권 소유하고 있어야 한다. 그 한 권은 인간에게

양도할 수 없고, 인간이 적는 것도 허락되지 않는다.

Everything and writing on the DEATH NOTE between

the gods of death is no problem.

사신간의 데스노트 교환이나 다른 사신의 노트에 적는 것은 문제가 되지 않는다.

If is prerequisite for the DEATH NOTE used un the human world that

a god of death make ssure that the humans in the human world use it.

인간계에 사용되는 데스노트는 살아있는 사신이 인간계에서 인간에게

사용되어도 된다는 의지가 전제되어야 한다.

If is very difficult to consider that a god of death who has possessed

a human could die, but if he should die, the DEATH NOTE that he

brought into the human world will not lose its power.

인간을 따르는 사신이 죽는 일은 생각하기 어려우나, 죽는 경우

사신이 인간계에 가져온 데스노트의 효력은 변화가 없다.

In order to see the names and life spans of humans by using the eye power

of the god of death, the owner must look at more than half of that person's face.

When looking from top to bottom, he must look at least from the head to the nose.

If he looks at only the eyes and under, he will not be able to see the
person's name and life span. Also, even though some parts of the face.

for example the eyes, nose or mouth are hidden, if he can basically

see the whole face, he will be able to see the person's name and life span.

it is still not clear how much exposure is needed to tell the name

and life span, and this needs to be verified.

사신의 눈으로 인간의 이름, 수명을 볼 때에는 그 인간의 얼굴 좌우로 반 이상을 보아야 하며,

상하의 경우에는 머리부터 코까지 볼 필요가 있고, 눈 아래를 보면 이름, 수명은 보이지 않는다.

또한 얼굴의 일부 눈 코 입 등이 숨겨져 있어도 얼굴전체가 보인다면 이름,

수명을 보는 것은 가능하다. 숨겨진 부분이 얼굴의 몇%를 차지해야 이름,

수명이 보이는지는 직접 검증할 수밖에 없다.

If above conditions are met, names and life spans can be seen through photos

and pictures, no matter how old they are. But this is sometimes influenced by

the vividness' and size. Also, names and life spans cannot be seen

by face drawings, however realistic they may be.

이상의 조건을 만족하면 얼마나 과거의 것이든 상관없이 사진이나 영상을 통해 이름,

수명을 보는 것이 가능하나 그 경우에는 크기나 선명도에 따라 보이지 않는 경우가 있다.

또한 아무리 사실적이라 하더라도 얼굴 그림으로는 이름과 수명이 보이지 않는다.

Those with the eye power of the god of death will have the eyesight of over 3.6

in the human measurement, regardless of their original eyesight.

사신의 눈을 지닌 인간은 원래 시력에 상관없이 인간계에서 3.6 이상의 시력이 된다.

The individuals who lose the ownership of the

DEATH NOTE will also lose their memory

of usage of the DEATH NOTE. This does not mean that he will lose all the memory

from the day he owned it to the day he loses possession,

but means he will only lose the memory involving the DEATH NOTE.

데스노트의 소유권을 잃은 인간은 자신이 데스노트를 사용했던 일 등의 기억이 일체 사라진다.

하지만 노트를 가진 후부터 잃어버릴 때까지의 모든 기억을 상실하는 것은 아니며,

자신이 한 행동은 데스노트의 소유자였다는 것과 관련되지 않는 형태로 남는다.

Whenever an individual with ownership of more than two

DEATH NOTE loses possession to one of the DEATH NOTE, he will not be able to

recognize that DEATH NOTE's god of death's appearance or voice anymore.

The god of death himself will leave,

but all the memory involving that DEATH NOTE will remain as long as

he maintains ownership of at least one other DEATH NOTE.

2권 이상 데스노트의 소유권을 가진 인간은 한 권의 소유권을 잃으면 잃은 노트를 따르는

사신의 모습과 목소리를 인지할 수 없게 되며 사신도 떠나가지만, 한 권이라도 소유하는 한

관계된 모든 데스노트의 기억은 사라지지 않는다.

The god of death must not stay in the human world without a particular reason.

Conditions to stay in the human world are as follows:

사신은 쓸데없이 인간계에 머물러서는 안 된다. 인간계에 있어도 좋을 조건은 다음과 같다.

1. When the god of death's DEATH NOTE is handed to a human,

1. 자신이 소지한 노트를 다른 사람으로 하여금 소지하도록 할 때,

2. Essentially, finding a human to pass on the DEATH NOTE

should be done from the world of gods of death,

but if it is 82 hours this mat also be done in the human world.

2. 노트를 건넬 인간을 물색하는 일은 원래 사신계에서 할 일은 아니나,

82시간 이내라면 인간계에 머물며 물색해도 상관 없다.

3. When a god of death stalks an individual

with an intention to kill them, as long as it is

within 82 hours of haunting them, the god of death may stay in the human world.

3. 인간을 죽일 목적으로 그 개인을 깊이 관찰하는 경우,

82시간 이내에서 인간을 따라다닌다면 인간계에 머물러도 좋다.

The god of death must not hand the DEATH NOTE directly

to a child under 6years of age(based on the human calendar).

사신은 인간에게 데스노트를 직접 건넬 경우,

(인간계 단위로) 만6세 미만의 인간에게는 노트를 건넬 수 없다.

The DEATH NOTE must not be handed to a child under 6 years of age,

but DEATH NOTEs that have been dropped into the human world, and are part of

the human world, can be used upon humans of any age with the same effect.

만6세 미만의 인간에게는 데스노트를 건넬 수 없으나,

인간계에 떨어뜨려 인간계의 물건이 된 노트는, 몇 살 의 인간이 쓰건 효과는 같다.

Someone possesses more than one DEATH NOTE, by visualizing the victim, then

writing down the name in one of the DEATH NOTE

And the cause of death in the other, it will take effect.The order however,

is unimportant, if you write down the cause of death

in one DEATH NOTE and afterwards, write the name in the other,

it will still take effect.

두 권 이상의 데스노트를 소유한 경우, 같은 인간의 얼굴을 떠올리고, 한 권에 이름,

또 한 권에 사인과 죽음의 상황을 적어도 그대로 된다. 따라서 한 권에 사인과

죽음의 상황을 적고, 그 후 또 한 권에 이름을 적어도 유효하다.

This can also be accomplished by two DEATH NOTE owners working together.

In this case, it's necessary that the two touch each other's DEATH NOTEs..

이런 사항을 소유권이 다른 두 명의 인간이 공동으로 하는 것도 가능한데,

이 경우, 서로의 노트에 접촉해야할 필요가 있다.

You will lose memory of the DEATH NOTE when losing its ownership. But you can regain this memory by either obtaining the ownership once again or by touching the DEATH NOTE. his can be done up to 6 times per DEATH NOTE.
데스노트의 소유권을 잃어 그 노트에 대한 기억이 없어지거나, 다시 소유권을 얻거나 접촉하여 기억이 돌아오는 것은 한 권의 노트당 6회까지.
If the 6 times are exceeded, the person's memory of the DEATH NOTE will not return and they will have to use it with out any previous memory of it.
따라서 접촉하거나 소유권을 얻는 것으로 6회 기억을 찾은 후, 또 다시 같은 노트를 사용하면 기억이 돌아오지 않은 상태에서 새롭게 노트를 사용하게 된다. Humans that have traded for the eye power of a god of death cannot see the name of lifespan of humans who have already passed away by looking at their photos.
사신의 눈을 거래한 인간은 사진 등을 통해 이미 죽은 사람의 얼굴을 봐도 이름과 수명을 알 수 없다. It is useless trying to erase names written in the DEATH NOTE with erasers or white-out.
데스노트에 쓰여진 이름들을 지우개나 수정액 등으로 지워도 아무런 의미가 없다.
